Special Edition: International Journal of Event Management Research

The International Journal of Event Management Research will publish a special edition that focuses on Risk Management. The Special Edition seeks papers that address research on risk management as it relates to events, sport and tourism contexts.
Key themes which will receive favorable consideration include:
· Security issues in events, sport and tourism
· Risk management strategies which address the reputation of public or private
sector events, destinations or businesses in the fields of events, sport and tourism
· Risk management strategies to counter cyber-crime or cyber terrorism
· Integrative risk management strategies between emergency management agencies
and the events, tourism/transport and sports industries
· Cases of successful and unsuccessful risk management in the events, sport and
tourism sectors.
· Natural disaster preparedness strategies in the events, sport and tourism sectors.
· Integrative risk management planning between the events, sports and tourism sectors.
· Contingency marketing strategies in the events, sport and tourism sectors.
· Occupational health and safety training and preparedness in the events, sports and
tourism sectors
· Specific case studies in risk management

If the abstract is accepted, submit full papers (5,000-8,000 words) no later than July 30
